Connecticut & Massachusetts

To stay a week in Liz's home in New Haven was very relaxing..

I met her children and grandchildren.

We saw the touring company of a Broadway musical,
"The Scarlet Pimpernel" at the famous Shubert Theater in New Haven and were completely caught up in it.

We explored the surroundings in Connecticut and Massachusetts. and Rhode Island. We walked along the beach, we watched the making of maple syrup and even sampled some (yum).. 
A visit to Old Sturbridge Village, open air museum was a most interesting day. We saw
what it was like to live in a traditional New England village 
1700-1800.
