Florida.

Meeting 35 seniors in Florida was a most wonderful experience.
There were so many warm and kind people.
We had exchanged pictures of each other now we could see each other face to face, give a hug and hear our voices.
We shared meals with each other and went on outings in the St. Petersburg area.
The weather was beautiful, like Swedish summertime in February.
One of the highlights of the gathering was a cruise around St. Petersburg Bay on a large paddle steamer where we were entertained by a Dixieland Jazz band during lunch.
It was quite a wonder to pick ripe oranges from the trees in Alice B's garden (in February). Another highlight was the sumpteous buffet in Alice's home. It was my pleasure to bring some smoked salmon from Katthammarsviks smokery which was enjoyed by all.

A reporter from the local newspaper came and took photographs and the event was reported as:
"Senior web-surfers crash into town"
Seniors.com representatives Robert W. and Steven Y. gave us information about the upcoming plans for expansion and improvements at www.seniors.com and took the group out for dinner in a local restaurant.
