On this trip of a lifetime, I saw and did many things.
It all started with my internet contacts with a group of strangers and this contact
is
alive and well.
After I came home I continued to explore things that I saw and did and that I did not fully understand. I have sought answers to questions that came up
in my heart. I relive the trip over and over.
Before I began this trip, I made the decision to try always to be open.
I was rewarded ten
fold.
I learned that people are alike from all parts of the world and from many diverse
backgrounds.
We share common values and concerns.
As I traveled within the United States, I also traveled inside myself.
As I discoverred
that
even an older person, alone, with a cane could plan and accomplish such a journey I came
to believe that anything is possible. |
